A Sneak Peek into my Summer Wardrobe

I’ve been working with Atlantic Village and the Gap Outlet store to give you some summer inspiration to freshen up your wardrobe.

This khaki colour knitwear is divine.  The shape and softness of it make a very comfortable top feel luxurious.  It’s the perfect top for a sunny, but windy day in the South West.

I don’t always go for this style of trousers, but turns out I love them! These navy blue chinos are so comfortable and flattering and can be dressed up for an evening out or as work wear.  They are really versatile as an item that can be matched with a tunic, shirt or something like this bell sleeved Breton style top.

This top is everything!  Also available in black, it is very forgiving on those not so flat tums!  I like it’s A-line shape which falls over these chinos really well but would also look good over a dress or skirt.

As a combination, this outfit works well as both casual but also semi-smart.  I feel good wearing it as an outfit and if I weren’t on the beach, I would match some tan pumps with it.

Isn’t this print lovely?  This style of dress comes in several prints and I struggled to choose my favourite to share with you.  As you will see in my picture at the top of the page with Jonah, it is a sleeveless dress with a tie through the middle.  It’s so casual, but special at the same time.

Because the material is a slightly heavier weight, the skirt falls nicely to create a straight line skirt.  The dress is comfortable and loose with a bohemian feel that I just love to wear during the summer months.  This white cardi is the perfect accompaniment to this dress, especially with our British summer times!

Denim is everywhere at the moment; shirts, skirts, dresses – I love them all! Not as much as this wrap around skirt.  This falls to mid-calf length with a slight dippy hem at the ties.

Add a splash of colour to your outfit with one of these vivid coral vest tops (also available in turquoise) to get you in the summer mood!  Loose fitting, but flattering, this top has some lovely detail at the neckline too.

As a whole outfit I think this works really well as a beach outfit or even for a day out in the city.  It’s comfortable but looks good.  It’s fun and fashionable!
