Back to School with Kickers
The beginning of September firmly feels like the door closing on Summer and opening into a new stage of the year; Autumn and Winter approaching and a brand new academic year. This can bring a mixture of emotions; from parents' relief after a long, perhaps trying spell of the kids at home, to anxiety and sadness for mums and dads seeing their little one entering a new stage of their life. We are very much the latter, with Jonah starting in Foundation on Monday and the 'back to school to-do list,' is very new to me.
I did get a bit frazzled as I addressed the surprisingly long list provided by Jonah's new primary school. Uniform items, P.E kit, school bags (plural), name labels... the list goes on! I think O found it stressful becauae I wanted to ensure that I got everything right for my little boy.
I'm super pleased that I got Jonah's first ever school shoes right. We chose these Kickers Kick Racer Infant shoes from their wide range of school shoes.
I love this picture about because it fills me with excitement for Jonah's new adventure. I love the pictures below because Jonah is still a boy and insisted on wearing his pirate outfit with his school shoes!
I remember getting my first pair of Kickers in year 6 and thinking that I was the bees knees. I know from experience that Kickers shoes are great quality and include Micro–Fresh® technology, ensuring shoes are odour–free for longer.
The Kick Racer is great for Jonah because of their easy loop through Velcro straps, meaning he is confident in putting them on and taking them off himself. The soles are really durable and hardwearing for running around the playground and I'm confident they will last at least a year.
These particular shoes are priced at £4 5 which is great value for such a high quality shoe. To see the full range of both boys and girls footwear, please click here. If you are hoping to buy some before he start of school, you still have time with their next day delivery option!
I have worked in collaboration with Kickers to create this content in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. #ad
